October 8th 2006, a beautiful, fresh Thayer's Gull.
2 shots flying away, 1 shot standing and 1 shot comparing.

November 8th 2005, an average Kumlien's Gull.

December 27th 2004, an average (slightly darker) Kumlien's Gull.

January 6th 2006, a pale Kumleins that still resembles a 1st year bird.
3 shots. Standing and flying.

January 18th 2004, an average(?) Thayer's Gull.
5 shots from every angle.

January 18th 2004, distant Kumlien's shot.
1 poor shot of a swimming bird.

February 1st 2004, paler Kumlien's.
1 shot of the bird standing.

February 1st 2004, a more Thayer's like bird? With fairly dark wingtips.
One shot of the bird standing with a Herring Gull.

February 11th 2005, an average Kumlien's.

March 18th 2008, a dark Kumleins, or a very pale Thayers...

March 18th 2008, seems to have more Thayer's than Kumlien's in it...

 

Third Winter:

January 6th 2006, A great example for a Kumlien's gull of this age.
