Equipment


Read below for information about the equipment I use. I have also made a separate pages about me and also one for my favourite links

Camera:

     Canon 10D, Digital SLR. My first camera, which I used exclusivley until December 2006

     Canon 1D Mark IIn Digital SLR. Most images taken with this camera in December 2006/onwards

 

Lenses:

     Canon 600mm F4 IS lens. Which I started using in October 2005.

     Canon 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 IS lens. The first "bird lens" I used, starting in June 2003.

     Canon 100mm F 2.8 Macro lens. Used frequently for Macro work, including Dragonflies, Butterflies and flora.

     Sigma 24-70mm F2.8 lens. I use this lens to take most senic images, as well as my first butterfly and dragonfly images.

     Canon Extender EF 2.0x II

     Canon Extender EF 1.4x II

 

Tripod/Support:

     Gitzo 1325 Tripod

     Wimbery Tripod head

     Home Made "Ground Pod" a frying pan with an attatchment for a wimberly head.

 

Lighting:

     550 EX Flash

     Better Beamer Flash Extender
